Children at Emu Heights Public School were recently challenged to put their school motto “Happiness by Helping” into action by doing jobs at home to raise money for the victims of Queensland’s devastating floods.
Gardens were weeded, bathrooms cleaned, dishes washed, groceries packed away, younger brothers and sisters looked after and countless other jobs completed as the children relished the opportunity to help.
